October 30th 2024 - We had the pleasure to offer our "Discovery Workshop - Demystifying music therapy" to members of Carrefour St-Eusèbe, a community organization bases in Montreal.  Guided by 2 music therapists from the Institute, participants had the opportunity of exploring musical activities inspired by what happens during group music therapy sessions.  Thank you for your curiosity and your enthusiasm!
 

October 29, 2024 - This article published in La Presse presents 2 organizations offering services to persons with aphasia and their caregivers.  It starts with information about AVC Aphasie Laurentides and includes, at the very end, a video filmed at the Institute when offering a music therapy session.  

We are pleased to share the Interview given by Suzanne Caron, for the radio show Le genre humain, broadcasted on September 22, 2024. She explains what is music therapy, and the role of the music therapist, a qualified professional, who is a musician and also a therapist.

Wednesday, September 18, 2024 - We are pleased to welcome Alejandra Arevalo to the National Music Therapy Institute's team!  While completing her Masters in Music Therapy, Alejandra is already contributing to our website's contents, adding Ressources and references in Spanish to our database.  She believes that it is important to reach out to the hispanic community in their own language, so that they can more easily find out how music therapy can help them or their loved ones.
